Developing the Next Generation of Elite Hockey Players
At Ted Reeve Thunder, we are extremely proud to play a key role in developing the next generation of highly skilled hockey players. As part of our commitment to excellence, we have fully adopted Hockey Canada’s Long Term Player Development (LTPD) model, a nationally recognized framework designed to foster growth at every stage of an athlete’s journey.
Our program is built to support players in developing both their hockey skills and overall athleticism, preparing them to compete at the highest levels of the game. From grassroots to elite competition, we follow a structured approach that prioritizes age-appropriate development, ensuring players progress with confidence and purpose.
To deliver on this promise, we’ve partnered with some of the most elite and experienced hockey instructors in the country. These professionals have not only played at the game’s highest levels — including the NHL, AHL, OHL, and NCAA — but they continue to train top-tier athletes, including current GTHL and professional players.
Our focus is simple but powerful: train hard, learn consistently, and have fun doing it. We believe that fast-paced, competitive practices are the foundation of both individual growth and team success.
At Thunder, we’re not just teaching hockey — we’re shaping athletes for life.
