A Tradition of Excellence – Ted Reeve Thunder Hockey
Throughout its proud history, Ted Reeve Thunder has established itself as a competitive force in minor hockey. For the 2026-27 season, we’re proud to have 18 teams competing in the GTHL across both “A” and “AA” divisions, representing every age group.
Over the past decade alone, Thunder teams have captured numerous divisional and league championships, with several going on to represent the GTHL at the OHF Provincial Championships — and winning there too!
Our success is no accident.
It stems from a clear focus: providing players with the opportunities, coaching, and resources needed to elevate their technical skills and advance to higher levels of hockey. But more than that, we are committed to developing the complete hockey player — on and off the ice. Our coaches and staff place a strong emphasis on character, teamwork, and sportsmanship, building athletes who excel not just in the game, but in life.
Our comprehensive development program includes both on-ice training and dryland conditioning, designed to push each player to the next level. Just look at our instructor bios: from former NHL, OHL, NCAA, and national team players, to the coaches who helped them get there, Thunder players benefit from elite-level instruction and mentorship.
We take immense pride in knowing that every Thunder player leaves with the skills, confidence, and love of the game that will serve them throughout their hockey journey — and beyond.
